A cast aluminium pressure vacuum valve for underground fuel storage tanks. It keeps the tank closed in normal service and opens only when pressure or vacuum builds, relieving through the ports around the body and drawing air back in as the level falls.

Why the PV Valve

Relieves pressure and breaks vacuum through a ported body, staying closed the rest of the time.

Relieves Pressure

Opens once pressure in the tank rises past the set point and reseats when it falls back, rather than venting continuously.

Breaks Vacuum

Admits air as the tank empties, so the shell is not pulled down by the vacuum that would otherwise build behind the falling level.

Closed in Normal Service

Stays shut between relief events, holding vapour in the tank instead of letting it escape through an open vent.

Threaded Connection

A machined female thread at the base so the valve mounts directly onto the tank vent line.

Cast Body with Hood

A heavy cast body under a domed hood, shielding the ports from rain and site debris while leaving them clear.
